About me
Welcome to the Flapper Factor. Here we worship the beauty, power, and enigmatic glory of Classic Film through articles, photographs, quotes, and actual classic films I happen to upload to my blog. My primary areas of expertise are the silent/pre-code eras, although I do try to mix it up. I started this blog after I realized how wonderful tumblr was in comparison to blogspot (I used to run "They Had Faces"). However, the old fashioned blogger in me still commands that I include semi philosophic articles with each and every post, so I try. I update, or hope to, almost every day, and I follow more than I am followed (probably because I follow every classic movie blog I find). This blog has the dual roll of showing off my colorizations, which some people think is terrible, but any tribute is good tribute in my opinion, and it's the emotion behind the tribute that's important. In the end I'm just a die hard nostalgaholic who will never stop asking for the stars.
